last last sunday i managed to catch
two birthday parties
and
three babies
first went to athan's one-month-old party.
here is athan. mich & alan's precious one.
the view from athan's room, peering down.
jene and baby ashley,
smile for me ashley!
oh look at kate and her one-year-old party!
kate's huge castle cake as you can see. tall. chocolaty yummy castle. i wonder where is the prince mmmmmmmm.
next picture is kate and her small-eyed aunty june. ho ho
next, kate and grandma
daddy jeremy and mummy jas
(i'm sure you know the colored ones are balloons and not kate and her friends)
then three clowns you can see at the bottom.
psst. click on the picture for a closer look. sorry i have not figured out how to make it bigger

sakura, come here
one year, two months, twenty one days, whatever hour.
that is how old this blog is.
i started my first post with a picture of spring, the sakura waving gently with tokyo in the background. oh the picture wasn't taken by me.
this spring, i finally saw the flowers myself. how beautiful they are!

hanami = viewing of flowers
the japanese will come out in flocks, park themselves under the cherry blossoms and have sake and snacks, together with their friends & family, they will do a hanami

plucked
finally we went to pluck. it was funny.
"imagine music falling into the hands of these three idiots"
i have always found strings to be rather powerful, i think they can be incredibly sad yet strong.
and i found out, it IS quite possible to spend 9 hours at the esplanade.
finding a lot in the carpark
looking for friend
looking for box
listening
watching
laughing
dinner
talk
watch the ndp-to-be
eat ice cream
drink
watch drifting on tv
queueing for lousy drinks
looking for the car
home and away~
wow.
