rain
eks, the rain season is officially in. a little late i think. it started raining non stop from sunday morning. spoilt my tennis sunday and ended up being a movie potato. *refer to previous post for movie. haha
then whole of monday, rain rain rain. always glad i had my boots on all the time. by the time i got to orchard-people-boulevard, the rain had gone from tiny Thumbelina to Hercules big wooo wooo. was trapped at the bus stop. while pondering if i should make a run for takashimaya, there was some ruffled feathers drama. two supermodelly-thin girls came into the bus stop which by the way was packed with dry people. the girls was passing by the place using their brollies which almost poked this half balding uncle. he caught hold of the tips of the brolly (of one of the girls) and gave a mini lecture about being careful so she don't go around blinding people. oh heyhey, she retorted, yeah yeah i know (in a really sarcastic tone of course). ooh haha, mr.uncle glared back and shouted, f*%# you! so i thought yeah, i should run incase they start to throw brollies at each other, i still want to recieve all my xmas pressies you know.
so i waded through the flooded car-packed road and waited for people to show up.after all the shopping, we decided to have some dinner at the food court. of course about half of takashimaya was looking for food too. actually the pasta looked really nice until we hit a big block of stone. there were seats yes, but they had some silly system which you had to queue up, order, pay then find a seat. and plus the staff was rude too. the manager, mumbled, order here, while balancing two plates and walking off. don't bother going there, the stall/place which i cannot remember the name, why should i anyway, is facing the elevators at one side and near to the indian mama shop at the other. so we gave up and tried the next door neighbour who sold german sausages. guess what, same system. by the time we started queueing, the seats were long gone.
ended up next door (yes we were moving closer to the supermarket already, haha!). fish and chips. beer battered fish and chips. polite crew at last! for $12, you get soup, fries, fish, a drink and ice cream of decent size. what a burstful dinner
by the time i hopped onto the bus, it was pouring. like a girl who hasn't cried for years. if rain represented her tears, why is she so sad? especially at the end of the year. is it because she hasn't gotten her xmas pressies yet? is it because she hasn't managed to go on a holiday? or is she actually happy? you tell me.

more movies
this week i managed to catch two movies.
eragon
courtesy of my very busy friend who invited me for a private preview. i received her call,
hey do you wanna catch eragon?
hmmm. okay let me check the papers... eragon is not on yet.
yes it is, the show is a preview one, so she said.
i checked the papers once more.
no it isn't on, the only preview show is The Holiday.
yes it is, you idiot, stop wasting my sms, it is a PRIVATE PREVIEW!!
ohh...
anyway i met her boss (with big hair) and some of her colleagues. finally able to put some faces to the names. oh there were the Chequered Boys too. heee
back to the movie, it was like Lord of the Rings meet Dungeons & Dragons. a very mythical story about a boy (actually he was suppose to be 17 but well..) becoming a Dragon Rider. It's like spiderman, with great powers come great responsibilities. that is what life is about eh? but whether you choose to use it wisely that's another thing.
the holiday
a show fit for the season. a tale of two women across the continents swopping their homes for two weeks. i bet no one will dare to swop their room for mine. ha! but i think it would be nice to have a change of environment for a while. both the women, cameron diaz & kate winslet, had a bad experience, well , in their love life. cameron had a jerk in her life who cheated on her and she had a problem of really falling in love. she doubted if she even really did, till jude law came along. kate meanwhile had a another bigger #%$hole in her life. already got cheated on, he continued to hold her in his life, needing her and not cutting loose of her, making her so miserable. of course she had problems herself, she couldn't bear to let go and continues to punish herself for a good three years, loving him silently till he announced he is getting engaged (oh he 'forgot' to tell her). jerk!

iamrude
been quite a slacker iam afraid. whenever i wanted to post pics, it took too long and i always fell asleep.
there are many things to write, too many.
where should i start?
let's start with work.
work is fine. work is almost 9months old.work is giving me a backache. for real. i think i am not suited in the office, given aircon i said too cold. given chair i said backache. given human hours i said boring. cheap bones i have (according to the chinese), jian qu dou.
things bought
camera- bought couple, no, three months back.
six pack (sorry, beer eh, not abs)
nike cap (adding more!)
clothes in JB, at this 'new' mall, - shucks i forgot the name. ask my shopping queen.
things destroyed
item: bluewhite beads necklace from monkeyress
cause of death: fat arms slipping between neck and beads
item: green-faced casio
cause of death: long arms swinging against concrete white walls
movies
organised a SSF. wasn't too bad considering i have ONE participant, oh make that TWO (including me). in case you are wondering, ssf stands for scary shuyi friday. couldn't convince the other two scaredy cats to join me & my new scaryloving friend pam for SAW3. so our very first movie outing became a two-in-one. the cats watched another loveydovy show instead since they couldn't bring themselves to facing jigsaw. when's the next ssf?
tried a djsf. dejashu friday. had ONE participant too. it was a nice muvee, denzel, in deja vu, had to save a girl & boatfuls of people after a 'patriotic' guy decided to blow up a ferry. denzel had tools of science and technology to go back to the past. got a bit technical in the middle of the show, i think that's why lina fell asleep.
caught the ancient andy lau show, battle of wits. lengthy chinese war show. war is all about strategy in the past. no sneak attacks when the enemies are not looking, the leaders of war could even play chess in the middle of the battlefield. it's like mr.zhugeliang and his strategies, rather interesting. this movie originated from the japanese comic. i went to kino to see, they were sold out. should be interesting to read.
oh its really late, shall continue next time.

a certain rubbery death
how many of you own a pair, if not two, of rubber clogs.
yes you know what kind i am talking about...
the kind that eats up your toes
you think they are nice? mmmm.
i heard they are comfortable
such an irony that the papers published an article 'boasting' the goodness of them and then came along news that said toes are being eaten up meanwhile.
so
keep your toes away from a certain rubbery death

i wish you happy
i have had many part time cats in the past
they came and went, for lunches, dinners and suppers
and yet
none of them had been so special except for her.
i call her meow
in the photos that i took, she was known as fat.
first time i saw meow, she was lazing in the sun downstairs.
i fed her and her friend, black.
after many times, she started to recognize me.
she would just come, rubbing her head against my legs. asking to be petted.
then i decided to bring her home, or at least outside my house door.
treated her to countless meals and drinks
she would call nonstop till she sees the food
after that, she would want you play. then she would simply walked off to stalk the night
she would always try to sneak into the house, just to take a peek.
once in a while, when no one was home, i would let her walk around freely.
i didn't had to bring her upstairs, she simply invited herself.
she would sit patiently near my door, trying her luck. waiting for me to come home.
because she knew, she would get some warmth from me.
she would play with my laces, bite my fingers and sit on top of the shoe cabinet.
i would have let her become my full time cat if not for the fact that my mum would probably drive me out of the house.
about a month back, my sister asked.
if you see the cat, let me know.
why?
because i saw a cat got hit by a car. and the cat looked like her.
i asked her if she took a closer look, she didn't dare.
i didn't see meow for a few days before the conversation.
i hadn't seen her since.
i had hoped it wasn't her.
but as the days passed, my hope faded.
and my heart grew heavy
was she..
i don't know.
i will never get to know.
where did you go. i hope you are happy.
i miss you~

fear
that day i asked people a question, here's the outcome.
Question- What's your greatest fear?
Answers from all walks of life
- buried in a pit full of cockroaches
- dying without saying goodbye
- drowning in the deep blue sea
- not enough to eat
- birds
- to be scared
- being paralysed
- falling off a 100 storey building
- becoming stupid
- a slow death
- not finding a reason for life before dying
- losing everything
- pure darkness
- no one loves me
- no television or internet
- impotency

candy
here i am, mulling over my cup noodles and trying to post a picture of a snake queue on monday for the 5.5million toto. realised that my picture was too wobbly. oops. should be my hand. must have been so excited about contributing to the next lottery draw. hahaa..
well, i gave up on that picture anyway.
movie time!
monday, i watched the shortest movie ever.
20mins worth. it was called 'hush candy'. don't know about it? good.
ha.
it was actually 'hard candy'. for the first ten minutes it was alright, then the whole movie became silent.. for another ten minutes the whole theatre was giggling and talking.
'okay, sorry technical problems. we gotta stop the show. please refund your tickets.'
so my ticket was swopped for tuesday.
tada.. was crossing my fingers hoping it won't happen again. thank goodness it didn't.
the show is nice. i liked it. you would like it too.
it is quirky, deep and colorful.
it's about this 14yr girl meeting 32yr guy after chatting on the net. turns out she is punishing him for being a paedophile.
according to the writer, the idea for the story came from a piece of news. in japan, there was a bunch of school girls bashing up old men who preyed on younglings. ouch
catch it if you can. time is running out.

it's time
gosh.
haven't posted for a week, what have i been doing?
lazy lazy lazy bum.
in order not to bore you to death, here's a summary
5 Aug Sat-
After shopping, was stuck in traffic on the way home. became an accidental singaporean and caught the first series of fireworks. Then to Shan's birthday thing @butterfactory. she got sloshed apparently. strange that pentium was alright considering that it was her birthday too. oh she's pentium. slower mah
fireworks
more fireworks
ahem. me in the middle of the road
flaming lamborghini
the birthday girls
6 Aug Sun-
After tennis, headed for Yas' birthday thing @her home. She's 21! yay for her. Yas had to rush to get ready for a flight though.
8 Aug Tues-
Was bored at work. had a big breakfast.
my big breakfast
9 Aug Wed-
National day. Tennis. Then went to Queensway to shop and got meself a pair of proper sports shoes. Dinner @adam road. Movie @gwc, watched fast n furious: tokyo drift. wow. i think i am a speed monster. the way the drifting is done. wished i could do that, at least when i am late for work, i'll drift there.. haha
10 Aug Thu-
Dinner @lau pa sat with Val (i don't remember when was the last time i ate there even though my office is just next door), Qin's friend from canada. she tried satay, wings, cha siew noodles and chinese dumplings. she liked satay. We then walked from laupasat to boat quay to see the river. i think we were stopped at least 48205 times by the pubs/restaurants along boat quay who was bugging us to eat indian/italian/seafood/porridge/pizza/chinese and drinks. then proceeded to walk (!) to clarke quay for a look. Then to No.5 for lychee martinis. She liked the decor of the place.
valerie, me
11 Aug Fri-
Dinner @a ramen place. i had mixed rice though, could never finish a bowl of ramen, it's simply too huge. went to check out Q Bar @old parliament lane. they have al fresco, downstairs and upstairs. it was so crowded downstairs that we decided to go up to the 'disco' area. drinks are resonably priced @10bucks and came in new york standard (alcohol level is 1.5times compared to local drinks). at the bar, they have this see thru fridge that houses one of the most variety of vodkas. simply just looking at it makes one drool.
from the balcony of Q at 1.48am
12 Aug Sat-
i caught up with my sleep finally. Went to see the last of fireworks on the rooftop. had pizza and wine to finish off the night. saw a girl got sloshed on the sidewalk, i think she cut her leg or something too. can you imagine waking up with a bloody hangover and pain in her foot? ouch.

movie
today i caught a movie.
the lake house.
also known to us asians as 'the kelong' (house on water)
it's a really sweet show.
letter writing are such a past now, isn't it?
i used to write more. now? no time, or rather lazy
a brief summary.
sandra the doc, leaves the lake house she was renting, for the city (chicago)
keanu moves in. gets a letter saying, dear new tenant..
strange, thinks keanu.
he replied, dear old tenant, this place has been deserted for a while. how can it be?
turns out the two of them are writing to each other from two different points in time. literally. one is 2004, the other 2006. could this be happening?
so they communicated, and fell in love.
the house is made of steel and glass. very nice.
so all activities in the house are in sight.
as said by the father in the show.
light is very important.
the light here in chigaco is different from the light in tokyo.
he was talking abt how the light shines into different buildings to create different effects. architecture.
i love lights. especially evening lights.
when the sun sets, the skies are all so psykedelic.
i think i can watch it again.

as said by the father in the show.
light is very important.
the light here in chigaco is different from the light in tokyo.
he was talking abt how the light shines into different buildings to create different effects. architecture.
i love lights. especially evening lights.
when the sun sets, the skies are all so psykedelic.
i think i can watch it again.

weekend
the weekend is over!
aww. had a bbq/chalet with the clowns. yes clowns.
food and drinks yippee. marshmellows ooh.
whiskey yum.
halfway thru the bbq, had to do a bye at the airport for Junko.
but alas, the crowd's too much for us to say a proper byebye.
hope to see her soon. japan.
made my way back. then another trip out for the little rae of sunshine. she couldn't stay. auntie, you want our resume?
more food when i got back. mmm. honey wings.
chicky chops (courtesy of my mum's marination)
packed up finally at 3am.
daren didnt let us sleep. so we had pillow fights.
first fight. me vs shann. i said BBQ factory and she jumped. haha. bumped her head.
second fight. girls vs daren. he was being an ass so we jumped on him.
ended up i was clinging on to him like he was a wild bull to be tamed.
almost got thrown off the bed and squashed.
hahah.
i see bruises and feel as if i cracked a rib.
ouch.
slept like a sardine. no.. more like 小龙女, according to lina. with half of me out of the bed.
maybe i will master sleeping on the ropes soon.
woke up at 6am to find pam disappear. thought she got kidnapped but her heels was gone, don't think kidnappers had time to put her shoes on for her.
well, turns out she went home quietly. shhhhhh.
ended the sunday with a trip to meidi-ya. bought chocolates that almost killed my throat, but i couldn't resist!!
who can resist chocs raise your hands!
but i had to stop eating them cos i was coughing away madly in my quiet little office.had to run out everytime, incase they thought there was a fish in my throat.

baad
ok i know this is bit late but been tied down (to the bed.. haha) for the weekend.
Went for a discussion dinner with Shann last thurs.
She said, there is a new restaurant in citylink.
so we went there for dinner.
it was beside hmv.
very huge place.
New York, New York is the name.
after 5mins, we manage to get a table.
the tables are widish, said Shann. of course, the plates are wide, rather than big.
oh
Shann decided on having fish n chips (not many places do good ones, tell me if you know any)
i wanted salmon sandwich and root beer.
since we were there, might as well look around and scrutinize the place.
tables are packed tightly together, to squeeze as many patrons in i think.
the menu is nice and glossy. food selection impressive. food names/description sound yummy
food came. drinks no.
omg, said Shann. why why.
the fries on her plate was 'double fried'
it was clanky (the sound of the fries hitting the plate) and brown, dark brown.
horrible.
not much of a presentation too, just the fish plus some coleslaw and fries
the first impression of the place it gave me, something bit like NYDC, something upmarket and funky. but i realise it wasn't at all.
i think they are more average, no wonder the prices are quite low compared to others.
$9.90 for the fish n chips, $8.90 for my salmon sandwich.
the staff wears baby blue polo tshirts, thin kind. not too neat to me. not too smiley. i think understaffed. they were all flying all over the place, and because space is limited, nearly wham into me.
isn't new york suppose to be big? so how come space is so tight. asked Shann.
i don't know. never been there. this is more like japanese food place. haaa
you know singaporeans, they'll flock to new places. so there they were, all lining up for a meal outside. it was packed at 7pm.
do you want desserts? i asked Shann.
nah, no mood. the fries sucked.
oops. so we decided to grab hold of a black-polo-tshirt-wearing-i-assume-to-be-a-manager manager to tell him about the fries.
there were two of them.
mr. skinny and mr.big
mr. big was directing traffic
mr. skinny was directing staff
we wanted mr.big cos he looked friendlier but end up calling mr. skinny.
hey your fries looked like double-fried. said me.
wait
wait
(if he's reaction is, oh ok thanks, we will so not come back again)
oh i'm sorry, i'll tell the head chef about it. replied mr. skinny
ah.. decent answer.
they still have hope.
he even came back and repeated the line while clearing our plates.
well, tried and tested. now it is your turn to comment.

packed
so what have you been doing this whole week?
tell me.
me?
well it was a well arranged (i think) week.
monday i went home after work for a be-a-good-daughter night, plus the fact there was Grey's (hey Irish!) and scrubs (hilarious) at night.
tuesday was better. i was looking forward to have a kick-ass authentic (not really) 麻辣 hotpot at bugis with my dearest clowns. it was funny. the guys became pouty-lips girls after they wolfed down the food that was entirely cooked in the spicy! section. i don't know if that is heroism or...
wednesday was good too. had a sauna badmintonn session with yet more clowns. rather only two of them. ooh my badminton sucks.
and i am short (yes yes i got laughed at for not getting the high balls).
oh there was pickle ball too. tell you more next time. need to investigate more.
thursday went shopping, didn't get anything tho.duh. ended up having white wine (hot weather!!) at robertson's.
friday? ah yes, more shopping. no buys again. although i see lots. lots of people in town too! scary. one crazy girlfriend said, i want beer and pizza. so okay, we had some in No.5. plus more crazy girlfriends too. sleepy after that, went home.
saturday.. wait. what did i do yesterdae? oh.. i woke up thinking i was late for work (this has gotta stop, i am getting this everyweekend)
went to town(even more people !), had chicky rice at river valley's, went to the west, came back to town for cake and coffee (wanted scones tho~), went to meidi-ya for groceries oogling. went to west again.
last stop, coastes@sentosa.
for a beer and pizza. again. hahahah.
nice. no breeze. only people looking for diamond rings in the sand
and yam-seng cheering groups who throws birthday people into the sea.
went home to sleep.
today? last day of the week and the weekend (sob~)
woke up to know..
that the germans won 3-1
that the fridge door was left opened
that i had to wash some clothes
that i had to throw out the trash
that i smelt durian in the house
that it was raining when i am suppose to play tennis later
tell me.

KL
last last weekend the dwarfs went to KL.
this was a short trip to see papa n baby.
we figured the best way to get there was to drive so we scooted there on
saturdae and came back sundae evening.
here are the pictures i took
(apparently no one brought camera, so i made do with my phone)
here we are, having funn in our room when we got there finally after 5hours drive.
and getting lost of course
shop till you get a discount card in a foreign country!
that is baby Algren and our beloved papa. of course, the rest you see are tourist posing for pictures with mr. petronas..
on the way back, who could resist a meal of a&w?

russian!
on tuesday, i had russian food for dinner. saw somewhere that there is this nice little russian restuarant, so i wanted to try.
it is located at arab street, where u get fabrics and rattan baskets and all.
it has outdoor seats. although it was already evening time, it was still quite hot, so hey let's sit indoors.
was greeted by this chinese-looking lady and presented with a small menu. hmmm.. let's see what they have.. ok luckily it was in english. you know how some japanese restaurants have only japanese menu..
we were gonna share all the food, since this is the first time and we dunno what to eat. ok.
ordered 4 kinds and i had a beer.
(oh it was german beer, i was thinking, would the lady twist my arm off since they are serving RUSSIAN stuff. was thinking of having a vodka, but i think it was too early for a vodka, perhaps beer will do)
there was another table in the house, this middle age couple. i guess they are russian since they were speaking the the lady. i mean, i could roughly guess too.
oh yes, the chinese-looking lady speaks perfect russian. you wouldnt have guessed. and her english was accented too. i still wonder where is she from.
hey hoe, the first and second dish came.
no.1 was buns filled with ingredients. One was beef, couscous (i think). The other one was vegetable.
no.2 was Borsh - hot soup with beetroot and meat. served with a dollop of sour cream.
the buns are small but yummy.. ooh.
borsh is nice too. something new. soup with sour cream, you don't get that everyday you know.
no.3 was Pelmeni.
Pelmeni - basically it looks like chinese dumpling, with beef inside. the pelmeni was not floating in soup or anything. so they were just boiled and came with sour cream on the side(of course!)
i liked that too. yum.
they had those in vegetable too - Vareniky
no.4 was potato pancakes.ooh when i saw that, i KNEW i had to order. the pancakes had sour cream (yes..) on the side. love potatoes!
all in all, i really enjoyed it. cosy place. yummy food. nice lady.
the next time, i shall have a Stolichnya.

the day i posted my..
ezlink card.
it was just like any normal day.. yes, running late for work
had to drop off some company mails before i hit the train station.
nowadays, the post boxes are put outside the stations, think they are scared of some attacks.
whatever
so happy me was holding the letters, mobile n ezlink.
tada.. i posted my letters.
by the time i reached the control station, i realise i only have my mobile in my hands!
where did my ezlink go?!
oh
i think i posted it.
darn.
tried to call singpost and ask for it. yay. they said they found one:
"please come down to the post center and pick it up"
happily i thought i am so lucky (since when?)
went to see Mr. C
hello, where is my card?
here you go. is this yours?
....
i don't think so.
cos it has a printclub sticker
of a mother and a boy

farewell
yesterdae was a farewell dinner for my colleague, 関さん
we went to the sichuan restaurant on top of uob plaza
when we stepped in, i thought, i am so gonna die because the cuisine is super spicy
they ordered beer (being japanese..)
and the set dinner
had mini cold dishes- chilli cuttlefish, ma la beancurd with cashew nuts, long beans, spicy ham
next came the sharksfin, which i over-peppered it.
then the cod fish, nicely steamed with soya sauce.
came along another spiced up dish, prawns in sweet and ma la sauce.
oh then more spicy stuff, really soft sotong drizzled in thai-like curry with chillies generously sprinked
ooh, my throat was yelling for help already by then.
i couldn't finish that, only had one small piece and pushed the whole plate to 関さん
luckily the last one was long beans, no chilli whatsoever. thank you!
dessert was 豆花, their specialty. i gobbled it down greedily, not because it was nice or i liked it, only because the rest of them literally 'drank it'. in a hurry huh?
they were in awed of the scenery, since we were on the 62nd floor.
石崎さんeven asked me how's the disco on the top most floor of Swiss Stamford. hahaha. i told him the scenery is better, think about it, you'll be 10 floors higher.
well apparently the chilli and all were not such a good idea for me
thanks for everything 関さん!

weekend
i had such a weekend.
sat went to town. ooh so crowded, i heard the sales have started
no wonder
the world cup is coming too. so every pub/coffeeshop which has a tv, has some sorta match on
not too big a fan though
sundae had a meet up with the dwarfs. qin is leaving tonight.
they are always so hilarous. haahaa..
will send her off tonight.
don't think it's gonna be weepy, since she will be back in June.
but ben2 will only be back in one year's. hopefully they bring the kitty back too.
meow
caught a muveee as well, poseison. on the omni theatre.
huge screen but i felt as if i was on the boat too.
rocky. sea sick.
crisis muvee.
it shows how people handle disasters.
some freak out and yell a lot.
some remained composed and tries to escape.
some assume they will be rescued.
some just wait for Death.
maybe i will be the try to escape kind.
how about you?

amarantine
You know when you give your love away
It opens your heart, everything is new
And you know time will always find a way
To let your heart believe it's true
You know love is everything you say
A whisper, a word, promises you give
You feel it in the heartbeat of the day
You know this is the way love is
Amarantine
Love is always love
You know love may sometimes make you cry
So let the tears go, they will flow away
For you know love will always let you fly
How far a heart can fly away
You know when love's shining in your eyes
It may be the stars fallen from above
And you know love is with you when you rise
For night and day belong to love
It opens your heart, everything is new
And you know time will always find a way
To let your heart believe it's true
You know love is everything you say
A whisper, a word, promises you give
You feel it in the heartbeat of the day
You know this is the way love is

Love is always love
You know love may sometimes make you cry
So let the tears go, they will flow away
For you know love will always let you fly
How far a heart can fly away
You know when love's shining in your eyes
It may be the stars fallen from above
And you know love is with you when you rise
For night and day belong to love

The Art of Flirting
you Smile.
then you Wink.
flip your hair a little.
ask him where he is from,
even though it is so obvious.
everytime he walks near,
you can't help but smile a little.
he is so entraped by you,
he comes by to talk little nonsense.
isn't it obvious that he likes you too?
he asks questions with obvious answers.
he smiles.
you smile.
so much attention on you,
so much so your friend is neglected.
yes.
oh the atmosphere is so charged.
electric dreams
before you leave,
you gave the brightest smile ever.
you go home,
what a wonderful night~

rain
Raindrops keep fallin' on my head
And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed
Nothin' seems to fit
Those raindrops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'
So I just did me some talkin' to the sun
And I said I didn't like the way he got things done
Sleepin' on the job
Those raindrops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'
But there's one thing I know
The blues they send to meet me won't defeat me
It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me
Raindrops keep fallin' on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red
Cryin's not for me
'Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin'
Because I'm free
Nothin's worryin' me
It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me
Raindrops keep fallin' on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red
Cryin's not for me

they give you a discount of 80cents for that.
of course if you are a hungry ramen monster, they have 1.5 size for $1 more and 2 times more for $2 extra. perfect
ooh i had the fattest ramen that dae at cuppage.
extra butter (!) and corn. yum.
love the corn too.
but rae-chan had like 70% of the ramen i think. haha..
another nice ramen place is near the gallery hotel.
sapporo style ramen.
beer and food!!
the thing is,
the japanese,
they can eat ramen and rice together.
i had just the rice though. nice.
