leaders for TOMOROW
apparently, the 'leaders for tomorow' do not know how to spell.
how very sad.
and this ad had to appear as a full page ad in the straits times, 24th July.

pinpinpin
that day i went to kinokuniya and instead of buying something i could read,
i bought a japanese magazine.
because this magazine came with a project, that kind of do=it=yourself stuff.
it was a pinhole camera.
reminded me of primary school (i think)
where the teachers made us construct one using cardboard and needles.
so when i saw the box attached to the magazine, it said PINHOLE CAMERA
happily i bought it for 49.40 but paid about 40 as there was a discount, cannot really remember.
when i got home, i couldnt wait to open the box and see my new camera. but i decided to just read the mag first. okay.. some examples of how the picts will turn out. and more articles on the origin of pinhole camera. ah.
on the last few pages i discovered that....
i have to construct the camera on my own...with instructions in japanese.
what a challenge!
thank goodness they had pictures, like how you put together a cabinet from ikea.
so i dug out the tools and went to work.
its done! やった=yatta=i did it!
well, i tried. i hoped it will work. does it look like the completed version?
okay, now now. time to try some picture taking, with instructions in .. japanese~
yeah, will update when/if i manage to take some pictures. oh the camera has no lenses and no batteries and uses normal 35mm film.
wink
