i think there is a monster in the house.

sakura, come here

one year, two months, twenty one days, whatever hour.

that is how old this blog is.

i started my first post with a picture of spring, the sakura waving gently with tokyo in the background. oh the picture wasn't taken by me.

this spring, i finally saw the flowers myself. how beautiful they are!

along the streets. these came in light pink

only some are sakura, the rest? no idea

not exactly hanami but this will do.

hanami = viewing of flowers
the japanese will come out in flocks, park themselves under the cherry blossoms and have sake and snacks, together with their friends & family, they will do a hanami

finally we went to pluck. it was funny.

i have always found strings to be rather powerful, i think they can be incredibly sad yet strong.

and i found out, it IS quite possible to spend 9 hours at the esplanade.
